Olympic Triathlon

In the late 1980s, a  1.5 kilometer  swim,  40 kilometer  bike ride and a  10 kilometer  run ( 0.9 miles  swimming,  24.8 miles  of cycling and  6.2 miles  of running) was often called "International-Distance Triathlon" because that distance was accepted as the international standard and used at the first Triathlon World . Seriously the taught of doing a Trialaton for the first time could be intimidating, you have to challenge yourself, preapare and put all your trust in your creator who bestow upon us so many blessings among it are health that we should preserve it by first and foremost being thankful to the one who created us . That’s how it feel finishing my first triathlon, it was a great experience Ha ha especially while biking on hillside. On March 16 , 2019 as a preparation for my upcoming Ironman competition I decided to participate on the beautiful Great Clermont event .  Rachid’s 1st triathlon ...

Terrorism has no religion

*A German Muslim scholar when he was asked about TERRORISM and Islam. He said. "Who started the first world war? Not Muslims!! Who started the second world war? Not Muslims!! Who killed 6 million Jews in the Holocaust ? Not Muslims. Who killed about 20 millions of Aborigines in Australia ? Not Muslims!! Who sent the nuclear bombs of Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Not Muslims!! Who killed more than 100 millions of Indians in North America? Not Muslims!! Who killed more than 50 million of Indians in south America? Not Muslims!! Who took about 180 millions of African people as slaves and 88% of them died and were thrown overboard into Atlantic ocean? Not Muslims!! No, NOT Muslims!! First of all, You will have to define terrorism properly. If a non-Muslim does something bad. It is crime. But if a Muslim commits the same. He is a Terrorist. So first remove this double standards. Then come to the point. I am proud to be a MUSLIM !!

Be thankful , be grateful and be content

Brothers and Sisters in humanity and in faith , we need to  always  remember that  everything  that we have we owe to Allah.  It is Allah who has given us life.  It is Allah who gives us our Risq (provisions), our food, our clothing, our homes, our families, our health, our wealth.  It is Allah who gives us the abilities to do the things that we do. And He gave you of all that you asked for,    and if you  try  to count the blessings of Allah,  never  will you be able to count them.   Verily, man is indeed  unjust  and  ungrateful

New Zealand tragedy , a call for unity and more dialogues

In the wake of the recent tragedy at New Zealand and many others incidents around the world targeting innocent Muslim worshippers , all Muslims should increase their connection with Allah , go to the mosque more frequently, reach out to non Muslims friends and neighbors. Challenge media stereotypes. Have no fear , put your trust in Allah . To the non-Muslim colleagues who reached out, supported, and aided Muslim friends and communities around the world, showing solidarity against hatred and violence, thank you. To the many police officers, security personnel , and volunteers who stood by Muslims as Muslims have stood by others in the past, thank you. حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ "Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Guardian".  (Quran, Surah Al-Imraan)

The importance of giving thanks

It is considered good manners when someone did you a favor to give thanks as a token of appreciation.  Giving thanks is not only an ethics of good character but also an act of worship in Islam. Yes indeed by giving thanks genuinely  , you get rewarded for it by the most merciful, the creator of heavens and earths and all that we see and don’t see ( unseen worlds )  What about giving thanks to the one who give you life , hearing , health and so many blessings that we are unable to count . Give thanks to your creator for all the blessings he bestowed upon us . How many of us are truly grateful to Allah when we reflect on the blessings that He has given us for free!  We didn’t do anything to earn these blessings!  And yet we don’t reflect and we’re not grateful. Allah said in Quran Suratul Mu’minun, 23:78, ‎وَهُوَ الَّذِى أَنْشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالاٌّبْصَـرَ وَالاٌّفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ It is He Who has created for you hearing, eyes, and hearts (un...

decisions ... 🚲 or 🐎, Decisions

Decisions, decisions  ... 🚲 or 🐎 I jokingly asked a Police Officer if I could trade my bike for his fast horse. 😂 He was kind and nice to let me take some pictures with the beautiful horse . I do like both bikes & horses and wish they have a competition that included it.  Alhamduallah, Machaallah Subhana Allah

Be kind to your parents

Be kind to your parents especially your mother . Let us found out why ?  The most important person in the life of a child is his mother. But as we grow up, we tend to forget the importance and value that she holds in our lives and the sacrifices she had made for us. But our beautiful religion Islam  does not allow us to neglect the women whose sacrifices are innumerable. We may never be able to thank our parents especially the mother , but we must respect them as much as they deserve. Be kind to your parents , don’t wait until Mother’s Day or fathers day to appreciate them  as they should be at all time .  If your parents passed away you may pray for them , do good deeds with the intention for their benefit, Allah the merciful will reward you and they will get the reward as well . Be the best you can after all you are their legacy .  Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in...
