Eid Mubarak

According to the Fiqh Council of North America Eid al-Fitr will be celebrated on Thursday August 8, 2013. The three-day festival, which begins after the sighting of a new crescent moon, marks the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, during which Muslims abstain from food, drink, smoking and marital relations from dawn to dusk. Please consult your local Islamic Center and/or Mosque to determine when they will be celebrating Eid Al-Fitr.

You are welcome to visit a Mosque : Be our guest of honor .

We’ll do our best to arrange a visit for you. 877-WHY-ISLAM has a nationwide team of volunteers, who host non-Muslims at their local Mosques. If you’re interested, we’ll find a mosque close to your residence, then we’ll schedule a good time and date for you to come by. You can visit the mosque, view one of 5 daily prayer services, attend one of their interfaith events, or just converse with the many members of a mosque. If you have any questions, you can also discuss them with the mosque members. If you wish to visit a mosque in your area,
fill out the form and one of our mosque-guide volunteers will get back to you within 24 hours. “…Thus , if this is the case with the acts of worship, it is no wonder that mosques carry a great social and spiritual place in the lives of the Muslims.
