Mary and Jesus peace be with them in the Quran

Maryam ( Mary chapter 19 in the Quran ) In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful (15) And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking East, (16) And had chosen seclusion from them. There is more in common between Judaism, Christianity and Islam

O People of the Book! Let us rally to a common formula to be binding on both us and you: That we worship none but God; that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than God. (Surat Al 'Imran, 64) Islam is a religion of peace, love and tolerance. Today, however, some circles have been presenting a false image of Islam, as if there were conflict between Islam and the adherents of the two other monotheistic religions. Yet Islam's view of Jews and Christians, who are named "the People of the Book" in the Koran, is very friendly and tolerant. I am inviting each and every one who cares to make a difference to initiate a peaceful religious dialogue based upon mutual respect. Let the conversation begin. Please join Rachidm , be his guest of honor in interfaith dialogue. May your quest for peace and understanding be fruitfull.
